Pier Park offers over 1 million square feet of shopping, dining & entertainment space. Words or these few photographs just simply cannot describe it. Pier Park features anchor stores Target, Dillards, JC Penney and many great specialty shops often found on the beach like Ron Jon Surf Shop & more. Bring the kids and hop aboard the train now, It's getting ready to depart for a day of Pier Park Fun!
The Young & Young At Heart will surely find something of interest at Pier Park. Here is a neat treasure of Pier Park and an icon of yesterday into today. How about a ride on the Original World Famous Miracle Strip Carousel. This Merry-Go-Round Ride was recovered and restored to bring smiles to the faces of kids as it did with many generations past. Many Grand Parents Stand in Awe of this timeless treasure here in service as it is still making kids smile today.
The Miracle Strip Carousel is not the only ride now here in Pier Park on Panama City Beach. They also have added several other new rides including the original Eli Bridge Company Miracle Strip Ferris Wheel along with a balloon race ride and a kiddie plane ride. PCB's Pier Park is slowly working it's way to become Panama City's Total Beach Attraction for all ages. The Amusement rides are definitely more slanted for the little ones. Almost everyone will want to take a ride on the Nostalgic and newly restored Big Eli Wheel as it comes into service. this March of 2010. As previously said this has to be seen to be believed and really taken in. We have some pictures which were a whole lot of fun to produce. The real fun is when you set foot into Pier Park and take in the Florida Ocean breeze in your hair and just look around and see just how much fun everybody seems to be having. Pier Park has great music piped in throughout the streets. You can watch all sorts of strange vehicles, Cool motorcycles and scooters buzzing up and down the streets both day and night.
